Welcome to Panorama International Photography Contest 2023. The theme for this year’s contest is:
The Drift
According to eastern philosophy, every movement on earth is caused by the subtle principle of air. The theme of the Panorama International Photography Contest is the same where you can capture the movement of anything around you in nature.
Examples include:
1. A falling leaf or flower
2. Grasstip swaying in the winds
3. Rain dipping from the roof
4. Hair flying in the winds
5. The passage of a stream
Please read these rules before submitting your photo(s) to Panorama International Photography’s contest. By participating in the contests, you understand, acknowledge and unconditionally agree to abide by the following Rules:
BASIC SUBMISSIONS GUIDELINES FOR PHOTOGRAPHS
- Photographs should strictly base on the theme given – that is The Drift.
- The contests are open for online submissions. You can submit your works at submissions.panoramafestival@gmail.com
- A fee of Rs 250/- will be charged for submission in which you can submit a maximum of 2 photographs.
- The last date for submission is 31 December 2022
- Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses.
- Photos submitted must be at least 300 dpi (12×18 inches) Images should be no larger than 2MB. Photos must be in JPEG format.
- You are required to provide a unique title & description for each image submitted.Basic editing, including colour enhancement, the use of filters, and cropping of the Photo(s) is acceptable, provided any such editing does not affect the authenticity and/or genuineness of the Photo(s).
- Advanced editing used to create illusions, deceptions and/or manipulations, and the adding and removing of significant elements within the frame is prohibited.
Note: Photos that portray or otherwise include inappropriate and/or offensive content, including provocative nudity, violence, human rights and/or environmental violation, and/or any other content deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural & moral traditions and practices of India, are strictly prohibited and will be immediately discarded.
THE JUDGING
- A jury consisting of eminent photographers will be appointed for evaluating the works.
- The judging panel shall assess and determine the winning Photos. The results and the winners will be announced on the website.
- The decision of the judging panel will be final and binding on all Participants with respect to all matters relating to the Contest.
THE PRIZES
- The best entry will be awarded Panorama Global Photography Award 2023 which includes a cash prize, memento and certificate.
- Consolation prizes and cash awards will be presented to 5 runners up in the contest
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
1. Submitted photos must be original, created and/or taken by the contestant. It must not contain any materials owned or controlled by a third party for which you have not obtained a license, must not infringe the copyright, trademark, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
2. We respect photographers’ copyrights and copyrights shall remain vested with the creator of the image. Upon making the submission, you grant us, a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable right and license to use, publish, reproduce, display, perform, adapt, create derivative works, distribute, have distributed, print, in whole or in part, in any form, in all media forms now or hereafter known, to promote the contest, image, the photographer or for editorial or educative use.
3. The Photographer will be credited wherever the image is used.
