Mysuru: In connection with the upcoming Panorama International Literature Festival competitions will be held for school students under various categories. The competitions include poetry writing, short story writing and essay writing. The theme for poetry writing and short story writing is ‘Air’ whereas for the essay the theme is ‘Practical solutions to improve air quality in the ecosystem’. Original, unpublished works can be sent to submissions.panoramafestival@gmail.com. There will be separate competitions for age groups 5-7, 8-11 and 12-15. The last date for submission is November 30, 2022.
The events in connection with Panorama International Literature Festival 2023 are scheduled to be held from 1-31 January 2023 in 78 countries across the globe whereas the national event in association with Central University of Kerala, Kerala Sahitya Akademi and Kerala State Chalachithra Academy will be held from 29-31 January in India. Urging children across the country to participate in the competitions, organisers hoped that this will inspire children to think seriously about keeping the environment clean.
Winners of the competition will be invited to the venue Central University of Kerala campus in the Kasaragod district where the awards will be presented. Selected entries will also be published in various print and digital literary magazines. More information is available at www.panoramafestival.org.
