From the vibrant heart of Guayaquil to the luminous stages of the world, Gabriela Franco has become one of Ecuador’s most celebrated voices — a singer, performer, songwriter, and music producer whose journey embodies the harmony between passion, perseverance, and purpose.

Born with a natural gift for music, Gabriela began singing at the age of six and has never left the stage since. Her artistic path, rooted in rigorous training in voice, dance, theatre, and guitar, has flourished into a career spanning more than sixteen years, marked by over 2,000 live performances across Ecuador and abroad. Her presence — powerful, emotional, and deeply human — transforms every song into an act of communion between artist and audience.

Between 2011 and 2012, Gabriela became a household name as a host and resident artist on the prime-time television program QPasaTV. In the following years, she captured hearts across Latin America and Europe through her appearances in Yo Me Llamo Ecuador (2013) and Got Talent España (2015), where her magnetic performances earned widespread acclaim.

As her artistic maturity deepened, so did her creative reach. A prolific recording artist, Gabriela has released more than 140 songs and over 100 official music videos, combining the elegance of Ecuadorian melody with the universal pulse of contemporary music. Her voice — versatile and soulful — traverses pop, rock, and world genres, carrying messages of love, environmental consciousness, and cultural unity.

Gabriela’s artistry is not confined to the stage. As a member of the Casa de la Cultura Ecuatoriana and numerous international literary and cultural organizations, she has become a steadfast ambassador of Ecuadorian identity and global solidarity. Her collaborations with renowned composers such as César García-Rincón (Spain), Pedro Alfonso Morales Ruiz (Nicaragua), and John Adam Mascarenhas (UK) reflect her cosmopolitan spirit and her belief in art as a bridge among nations.

Among her most notable contributions stands Mi Canto Planetario, a worldwide artistic initiative uniting voices from over a hundred countries in a plea for the preservation of our planet. She has also released tributes such as Like Demi (2022), honoring Demi Lovato, and created La Escuela Canta con Gabriela, an educational project fostering music appreciation among young learners. Her more recent works — Too Sad to Dance, Brilla el Sol, and a rock reinterpretation of ABBA’s Dancing Queen — showcase her evolving sound and her unceasing curiosity as an artist.

In April 2025, Gabriela achieved a milestone by earning her degree in Music Production Engineering from IAVQ University in Quito, crowning years of academic and artistic pursuit. That same year, she founded her own recording studio, a creative sanctuary from which she continues to produce and share her music with the world.

Her achievements have been recognized with more than 100 national and international awards, including:

  • MBN Ecuador Award (five-time recipient, Municipality of Quito)

  • Festivegas International Awards (USA) – Multiple Platinum and Gold Records (2020–2025)

  • Festival Viva la Música (Spain)International Talent of America Award

Today, Gabriela Franco stands not only as a performer but as a visionary artist, a woman whose music is both song and philosophy. Her voice carries the warmth of her homeland, the rhythm of the earth, and the universal longing for beauty and connection.

Her life and art echo her personal motto — a truth born from experience and endurance:

“Never abandon your dreams for being too difficult or seemingly impossible—persevere, and you will achieve them.”

In her song, Ecuador finds its echo; in her journey, the world finds its harmony.
